When we are young, most of us feel that we have forever to begin saving for our future. But the truth is, we should start saving during our youthful years in order to be prepared for our older years. 80-20 is three phase retirement savings plan for working America. While in the process of preparing the Plan, I interviewed and talked with may people from all walks of life. I had the opportunity so speak with rich, upper middle class, middle class, as well as working class people. While talking with rich people, I found that they became rich either through inheritance or having the discipline to save toward accomplishing their goal. Upper middle class people were eager to share with me their means of accomplishment to this stage of their life. Middle class people, while not necessarily broke, explained that they wish and desire to accomplish much more in terms of financial savings. Working class people explained their desire to be able to retire financially well off.

Each phase will surely take discipline to accomplish, but the numbers show that it can, it should, it must be done. You can not leave your future to chance.
